Radnor Township manager Robert Zienkowski discussed the recent layoffs in the township administration as part of the new planned services department.
Zienkowski said that the township-building receptionist, an administrative secretary in the police department, several public-works employees and a public-works supervisor had been let go.
Zienkowski also talked about the Willows’ future. He said beginning next year the township is looking to a public-private partnership in running it. He said the township was committed to the maintaining the mansion but wanted to work with a private entity to manage the events. He said the township was talking to a number of organizations that were willing to make investments with the township in maintaining the Willows so that it will be here 100 years from now.
