Day camp counselors found ten 22-caliber bullets on a field at the Radnor High School campus Thursday morning, leading police to increase patrols in the area, Superintendent of Police William Colarulo said.
Police found no indication that any weapons were fired, Colarulo said. A round-the-clock police presence was put in place as a precautionary measure, he said.
Police did not receive any reports of shootings or fireworks, nor did investigators find any injured animals, Colarulo said. It’s possible, he said, the ammunition had fallen out of someone’s baggage.
